    Umbraco under subdirectory

I'm hoping someone can help me out. For reasons I dont really want to get into, I need to update our Umbraco website to have everything show up under a subdirectory. For example, I need the media to be called from the directory /lp/media instead of just /media. I would need this done for everything, including /scripts /css and anything else that can be called from within the pages. Is this possible to update the configuration to point to that new directory instead?

If I am not being clear enough, currently all the media is pulled from: http://www.mysite.com/media/1234/image.jpg

I want it to be changed to this: http://www.mysite.com/lp/media/1234/image.jpg

Please let me know if this can be done, or if I am out of luck. Thanks in advance.

No you can't change those folders. You could try using UrlRewriting although that cause havoc with Umbraco's expectations.

Only other way is to modify the core of Umbraco.

Any update on this question? I also need to install Umbraco on a subdirectory. This thread is 11 years old so hopefully that is enough time for Umbraco to add this function.
