    Leroy,

Can you get us some details on how you've configured the installer? Do you use a virtual directory or non-root directory to run umbraco?

    Looking forward to your info.

    Cheers,

    /Dirk

    Hi,

On the side, how can we make a non-root installation (subfolder) of umbraco work?

    Thank you.

    Regards,
    Harry

    Curlybub,

The current version of Umbraco doesn't support being installed in a sub-directory (virtual directory). The upcoming version 4.1 supports this installation option. Its currently in Beta, but if I recall correctly, it's due for relase later this year.

Basically just used the the installer on ASP.NET followed the instructions and click on the launch link provided after the installation is done. The installer did create a virtual directory. installed on XP professional, VS 2008 SQL 2008
