    nodeName can be saved as empty text (bug)

    I've just had an interesting thing come up where a Member no longer appeared in the Members tree but could still log into the system.

     

    What had happened is that someone had saved the Member with the "Name" field blank. This gives a warning/error that the field is mandatory but still actually saves the blank entry to the database.

     

    umbraco v 4.0.2.1 (Assembly version: 1.0.3441.17657)

    Please report such bugs on Codeplex, this forum isn't monitored for bugs...

    It was more of an interesting observation than a bug report but yes, I will report it on Codeplex, cheers.
