No umbraco document matches the url xxxxxxx

Installed Umbraco using the Microsoft Web Platform Installer (It's Umbraco 4 - not sure which sub version) - I installed it in a different directory : localhost/umbraco/ ... I've already added the /umbraco extra bits to the peices in the web.config file to make it install properly..

Now when I try to "Browse my website" i get this error:

    Page not found

No umbraco document matches the url 'http://localhost/umbraco/default.aspx'

    umbraco tried this to match it using this xpath query'/root/node/node [@urlName = "umbraco"]/node [@urlName = "default"] | /root/node [@urlName = "default"]')

    ---

Using Windows XP - IIS 5.1

I've just see a post saying you can't install Umbraco in a virtual directory...

How can I move my install to my root then?
