I am new to Umbraco, looks like a easy to use CMS, so I am going to give it a try...
I have general question on umbraco features:
- is there some whitepaper or overview on how the basic features work (like versioning, preview, audit trail, drag and and drop content, spell-checker, loadbalancing, workflow, mail form)? These features I saw on cmsmatrix.org.
By the way: the reference to the introduction-video on cmsmatrix.org is not working.... but I was able to find it though...
I'm pretty new to Umbraco and have just become level 1 certified, as luckily there is a trainer near me. I would HIGHLY recommend you purchase Umbraco.tv .. Although the training covered things alot quicker, and I got some nuggets from it - We actually set up and built a site just from watching the video tutorials on Umbraco.tv
Apart from that you need to check out the documentation site
Thanx for the anwwer. I already had a quick look at umbraco.tv and this looks like a great resource while implementating a solution. I was looking for a more "high-level" overview with reference to detail, but I guess it is not available. On the page http://umbraco.org/products it is saying that there will be a brochure soon. I guess that is containing the info I am looking for.
Barb Mosher posted a very comprehensive review of umbraco on cmswire, and walks you through the major features of the system with a few screenshots included.
