We are using nForum for our online community (I believe nForum originated from the code of this forum). We've got really good performance on reads but whenever a post is made it take up to 10 seconds to complete and during this time reads slow and take a while to recover. We think its the publishing to the other nodes in the cluster that is slowing it. We are using the XML cache on disk as well as the memory caching, is it the refreshing of the XML file on disk that is causing it?
