I am newbie to umbraco. I am trying to deveIop our company intranet in umbraco and have successfully deployed umbraco 5.1 CMS.
I would like to show notifications/latest company news on all pages which should be similar to an orange strip (at the top of the page below search module) showing notications in the current our.umbraco.org website.
Please give me suggestions to deal with this? Are there any exiting macros or packges to achieve this functionality?
it's easily done with a razor script that queries the content in your umbraco site... create a document type for the news first, and then ask again with a screenshot of your site structure and your properties of your doctype and we should be able to help.
