I am new to Umbraco and we need to set up an internal search for our site that we could customize what terms have priority in the results. How would I go about this? Is this someting that the IT department has to install on the server? And how? So, I could explain it to them. Thanks!
Hi, Any progress on this issue? I am trying to implement the internal search in the back office to search for other properties in the Media, not just for the name... Is this possible?
Umbraco guys, we really would like to learn how to modify the backoffice searches... I need to be able to search members by a user added field (CompanyName). I found ~/Umbraco/Members/MemberSearch.ascx but I have no idea where MemberSearch.ascx.cs can be found, or even if that is where to add the field to the search. I also have no idea where umbraco.presentation.umbraco.members.MemberSearch is. I am pretty sure that is the place I need to make my changes....
