    I'm looking a poll module.

Hello i'm new in Umbraco and still I don't know the umbraco site.

I'm looking for a poll module supporting both data base SQL CE or SQL SERVER.

    Thanks

    Dani

    Hi Dani

Since there has been released many packages during the past years it's hard to keep track of and remember what exactly is out there.

Doing a search I found this Poll package http://our.umbraco.org/projects/website-utilities/poll - But please be aware it's released in 2009 so I'm not sure if it's compatible with the latest release of Umbraco. But feel free to try and see if it works and don't hesitate to report what you figure out.

    Hope this helps.

    /Jan

    Hi Dani

You can find packages here on our under the projects section http://our.umbraco.org/projects or you can find them directly in the package repository in the Umbraco backoffice if you go to "Developer -> Packages -> Umbraco package repository". Here you will see a list of the most popular packages and those you may have favourited here on our. You can also search for packages in the repo.

If you find a package using the backoffice repo it can be installed by clicking on the project name and then hit the orange "Install package" button.

If you have downloaded a package from our then you should go to "Developer -> Packages -> install local package" and browse your disk to find the downloaded package in order to install it.

Remember that if you're unsure if a package you're going to install is supported by the current version of Umbraco you're using, don't install it on a live site since it can potentially mess things up.

    Hope this helps.

    /Jan
