    Hi Nazar

Are you asking if Umbraco can be run on sql sever 2008? If then the answer is yes.

If you want to integrate data from a sql server 2008 database into an Umbraco site using user controls or whatever you fancy this is also possible.

Hope this answers your question? :)

    Hi Nazar

To make Umbraco run on you SQL server you need to install Umbraco. And the installation process Umbraco will ask about what database it should use. Then you provide the information for the SQL server to use and if everything is succesfull then the installation will be complete and you're ready to use Umbraco.

You can read more about how to install Umbraco here http://our.umbraco.org/documentation/Installation/

    Hope this helps you.

    /Jan
