    Novice: How do i create a search function using ID numbers?

    Hello all,

    I am a total novice. I want to create a website using a search function like the http://www.gassaferegister.co.uk/ website. 

    I want to be able to be able to search using ID numbers, and need to know how?

    is there a script to do this?

    also, would I need a create a new html file for each new ID entry I wanted to add?

    Of course you could create site like that with Umbraco )) 

    What do you mean search by ID ?
