I'm approaching Umbraco with a view to replacing an existing Sharepoint installation.
Is there a ready to deploy module that manages a task list with each item possibly having associated files, 'assigned to' and date(s)?
Ditto Calendars. The only module I can find is the PD version, which, (ahem) looks a little basic?
Or is everyone building such stuff from scratch?

I don't know of any package providing a task list. But it would be very simple to produce something which was functionally equivalent to a sharepoint task list.
