Is there a way to install blog4umbraco so that it appears as a page within the Creative website starter kit and not at the root?

All you need to do is set the "Blog" document type as an allowed child nodetype of the page you want it under.
For example, if you want the blog to be under "Home"
1) Click on the "Home" document type in Settings
2) Click on the "Structure" tab at the top
3) Check the box next to "Blog" and click on save
4) Go back to the "Content" section
5) Right click on your blog's root folder (should be called "Blog" on a fresh install of Blog 4 Umbraco)
6) Click on "Move" and select "Home" as the parent node and click ok.
