Require 'Search website' functionality
Hi,
We require a freelancer to finish off a website that we have created - http://kings.whclpreview.com/
The website has a search website textbox on the home page and when the user enters text into the box they should see the results on a search.aspx webpage.
The search.aspx wepgage should also allow the user to search the website on a bit of text.
Thanks.

Hi Bob,
You can use either xsltsearch or examine for this, did your developer specify which they would recommend given the site?
I can help if you like. I'm based in Essex.
It may be best if you publish your contact details here and then any interested parties can contact you.
If you wish to contact me directly, my email address is [email protected]

Hi Bob
If your site is all public facing (no login to access content) I generlly advise clients to use google custom search http://www.google.com/cse/
There is a small ongoing fee from google if you want to have it without ads, or if you want high degree of customisation.
But generally you get far better bang for your buck... (that said you may still need someone to set it up for you (not me) :-)
Cheers.
Murray.
