    Umbraco Developer - Permanent role - London

    Precedent is looking for an accomplished Umbraco Developer to join our London development team.

     

    Is Precedent right for you?

    We'd like you to take the lead on core .Net projects, working on a variety of websites, microsites, intranets, and bespoke applications.
    Develop, implement, and maintain Umbraco systems (Sitecore experience would be an added bonus).
    Work alongside the creative team, to help generate creative ideas, and diverse technical solutions.
    Capture technical requirements from clients and team members.
    Test, validate and document work produced by the development team as part of the development process.
    Provide feedback on various core elements of sites/projects.

    What we're looking for

    Strong skills and experience in .Net 2.0/3.5/4.0
    Solid experience developing and extending Umbraco / Sitecore systems
    Excellent understanding of OOP, JavaScript, Ajax, and client-side development issues
    Good knowledge of XML/XSLT, data access and business logic layers
    Solid experience of browser versions, bugs, compatibility and compliance issues
    Good familiarity with site navigation, architecture, usability, scalability, and accessibility issues
    Able to integrate front-end interactive technologies, and good understanding of HTML page structure, CSS, and W3C coding standards and best practice
    Strong technical and non-technical communication skills
