    Umbraco Developer Needed - Perm - West Midlands - Salary up to £33,000

    Umbraco Developer - .Net

    Umbraco, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, AJAX, VB.Net, C#

    My client is looking for a passionate developer, to join their small but very busy team. The role will be an initial 3 months fixed term contract and then after probation will be a permanent role. This is a chance to really grow in a role, offer ideas and show creativity. You will need commercial experience in Umbraco, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, AJAX, VB.Net and ideally C# as well. Applicants will require a good understanding of MSSQL database technologies and have a Computer Science (or related) degree, or the equivalent work experience.

    The successful applicant will:
    Be involved in maintenance, debugging and problem solving of existing applications.
    Have strong visual design background.
    Have the ability to produce attractive yet functional applications.
    Have a sound understanding of .Net Framework 3.5 & XML.
    Provide input into the architectural discussions and decisions for the team.

    Essential Skills:
    Umbraco
    Proven experience with SQL, ideally 2005 onwards
    Proven ability in front-end GUI design and development
    Proven experience with IIS
    Experience with Visual Studio, ideally 2008
    Experience with web services
    Object Oriented development
    HTML/CSS

    The salary on offer is £28,000-£33,000 plus 25 days holiday and £1,000 healthcare scheme. The role will be an initial 3 months fixed term basis and then moving in to a permanent role after probation.
