    Umbraco Developer - Philadelphia

    Experienced Umbraco developer needed for contract work in Philadelphia. Remote work is a possibility.

    Description
    Looking for experienced Umbraco developer to support the growth of existing children’s entertainment website. Must have experience and an aptitude for working within large complex websites that include Flash, HTML, ad serving, metrics and SEO integration.

    Also required is a familiarity with .NET apps, Windows 2008 server, SQL, front side scripting (javascript), API's, HTML5 (would be a plus).

    Must have strong understanding of Flash and how best to integrate with dynamic website using Umbraco.

    Collaborate with internal and external teams to develop new solutions using the Umbraco system within the bounds of the existing architectural environment.

    Investigate new creative ways to streamline the current website and prepare for future initiatives.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Code and develop new content, including but not limited to new Umbraco templates, improvements to current Umbraco CMS, and new features / functionality.
    • Maintain and streamline interface between Umbraco CMS and Flash / HTML components of site
    • Propose and develop technological advancements / improvements
    • Troubleshoot technical issues as they arise
    • Analyze and provide solutions to repair, improve and grow the site
    • Assist technical producer and sr manager as necessary in executing and managing various development projects
    • Assist as necessary in SEO, Omniture and ad-tagging

    Minimum Requirements

    • Undergraduate degree; minimum 2-4 years experience in interactive.
    • Firm understanding and aptitude for Internet and emerging technologies such as Flash, HTML, Javascript, etc.
    • Must have experience scoping and managing technical initiatives.
    • Proven experience and understanding of Web design and content management.
    • Experience working with agencies.
    • Strong project management, planning and organizational skills.
    • Self-starter with proactive strategic thinking skills; Excellent verbal and written communication skills a must; Creative thinker who can excel in a rapidly changing, fast-paced environment
    • Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time while working under tight deadlines with limited resources
    • Must have strong problem solving and analytical skills.
