Active Solutions Ltd is a small software development company based in Blackburn who specialise in producing high quality bespoke solutions to the Travel Industry.  We currently have vacancies for 2 permanent full-time ASP.NET Web Developers based in our modern office located close to junction 5 on the M65.

Salary £23-29k depending on skills and experience.

ESSENTIAL – The right candidate must have all of the following:

• A minimum of 3 years commercial experience in building web sites using ASP.NET 2.0 (or later) using C# in an Object Orientated environment.
• Very strong client-side skills including xHTML, CSS, Javascript with cross-browser consideration and standards compliant.  Basic graphic capabilities, ie. the ability to prepare images for use on the web.
• A minimum of 3 years experience with UMBRACO CMS and XML/XSLT
• Good communication skills (written and spoken) and a keen attention to detail.
• Good time keeping and able to work under pressure to tight deadlines.

DESIREABLE –The right candidate will also have some of the following:

• Experience using jQuery
• HTML5 / CSS3
• T-SQL / SQL2005 (or later)
• Travel industry experience
• Qualified to degree level in a computing/internet related subject or MCSE accreditation
• Familiar with Microsoft Office applications
• VB.Net
• SEO.
