Looking for a full time ASP.NET Developer Wales - UK

We’re based in West Wales UK. You can see much of what we do on our website which is www.writemedia.co.uk and I've also included some links to illustrate our part of the UK.

We have a full time position available for a ASP.Net Web Developer. The full job specification is listed below.

    Essentials:-

    ·         ASP.Net C#

    ·         Visual Studio

    ·         MS SQL Server (Schema Design, Stored Procedures, Views, Functions)

    ·         Javascript/jQuery

    ·         HTML

    ·         CSS

    Desirables:-

    ·         Umbraco 4.x Experience

    ·         HTML5

    ·         XML

    ·         XSLT

    ·         Experience of using SVN

The successful candidate will join a small talented team of developers working on a variety of web based solutions for clients.

This role is ideal for someone looking to take the next step in his or her development career. You should be passionate about web development and keen to learn the latest technologies.

You will possess the ability to work both independently and within a team and will have excellent problem-solving and communication skills. You will be used to taking ownership of small development projects and focused on delivering quality solutions to a deadline with support from more experienced developers.

The core of our work is across three sectors, Sport, Corporate & Tourism. We provide sports development software to Olympic and Commonwealth sports NGB's as well as National sports in Wales. We also produce a wide range of solutions for mobile technologies and produce Apps for all the current mobile platforms that are used both in sport, corporate and tourism sectors.

The position would probably interest a young graduate recently qualified who ideally would have between 1-3 years experience and looking to further develop their skills in this section whilst having the opportunity to work with a dynamic young group of individuals. They may also be interested in visiting the UK and enjoying spending time in vibrant and interesting part of the UK.

Interview procedure. If there are any interested individuals then we would first appreciate a CV being emailed across to us, ([email protected]) from which we would ideally short list candidates and propose a meeting via Skype.

An English speaker would be a requirement in the position.
