Your responsibilities: - Production, modification and maintenance of client websites and web applications - Taking Photoshop designs from the Design team to produce websites - Managing outsourced programming / production as part of a team - Supporting with internal web developer
Your abilities: - Provide accurate timing estimates on work - Be comfortable working to tight deadlines - Be self motivated, but able to contribute to the overall digital team - Precision in your work, and with great attention to detail - Be happy multi-tasking - Use your initiative and relish problem solving - To be constantly aware of current and developing international web standards and protocols (AA, AAA standards, EU cookie legislation etc) - Maintain a high awareness of industry issues, trends and developments, particularly in regard to accessibility, usability, emerging technologies, and open source CMS. Keeping team members informed as appropriate - Pick up new techniques (and be proactively keen to do so) - Advise other non technical staff particularly designers - Contribute to the company development standards working closely with the Digital Design Director and Digital Strategist - Discuss technical solutions with clients and providing innovative new ideas to solutions - Constantly seek to develop yourself by learning new technologies and keeping abreast of market developments – Good interpersonal and communication skills - Creativity and imagination
Your Skills: - Excellent ASP.Net - In-depth knowledge of DotNetNuke - Experience with UMBRACO - Excellent HTML, XHTML, CSS programming skills - Knowledge of WordPress and/or Drupal an advantage - Developing cross-browser and cross-platform compatible solutions - Exceptional JavaScript programming skills - Experience with JQuery - Experience working with version control systems such as SVN - Experience building sites to at least an AA standard. - Knowledge of HTML Email best practice desirable
