    Questions regarding OpenSource

    Besides hosting and general operation, we sometimes get questions about prices because Umbraco is Open Source.

    Many people have an idea that open source equals free. How do you explain in that it still costs?

    Christian,

    If they are scared of free suggest http://umbraco.com/products/confidence.aspx also you can pay for support via confidence license. The other costs is actual build of templates / macros etc etc.
