we're quite close to get a big and very customized e-commerce project for a large publishing house.

Now some deciscion makers at their IT dept want to put Sitefinity into the game. I don't have that much experience, especially with current versions of Sitefinity, i need some help on that. The most "Umbraco vs. Sitefinity" articles on the web refer to older Umbraco versions.

I need a good impression of what are the main advantages of the current Umbraco version compared to the current version of Sitefinity. The basic difference in concepts (Sitefinity built-in features vs. Umbraco flexiblity) seems very obvious, but maybe one of you has more specific knowledge on that matter.

I would greatly appreciate any hints on that case.
