I don't think that there will ever be set such date. Eventually V6 will of course be canned but as long as there are still many sites running on v4 and V6, I think that patches will be released as it has happened with some of the older v4 versions recently - but why are you in need of an exact date?
We will keep releasing security updates for older versions when vulnerabilities are discovered and have no plans to discontinue this practice in the future. As such there is no end date for security releases for v4 nor v6.
thanks! The customer needed to know this in order to plan (budgets..) the upgrade to v7. As long as security updates are being released there is no rush.... :-)

Releases have stopped but security updates continue at the moment.... I'm in need of the date when even securtiy updates will end ;-)
