Just been testing this, creating a new post (with image), posting it and editing it afterwards, no issues. Could you try again to see if this issue persists?
My collegue tried to simulate the issue in IE8 (i'm using firefox), but he is having issues just to start typing text, the text input field isn't active.
He however does not get the xslt error when he tries to edit his post a few seconds later.

After i create a topic, if i want to correct something in the post, i keep getting this xslt error:

It works for a reply so it seems, but i have repeated the errors when i start new topics

Hmm, only difference right now is admin vs forum member. Let's wait for a non admin to confirm this issue.

my collegue tested in IE and FF and can't replicate the issue, I encountered it multiple times in the last week
