Just edited a post with a nice big code sample in it and it disappeared when I viewed the post again after editing. Luckily had it in my clip board so pasted it back in.
Ouch! Anybody got a link to a topic where this happened so I can repro please?
Please use the "Copy Link" option to link to the right place in the page.
This should be fixed now! If you can still reproduce, make sure to link to the post or comment that you're trying to edit and I'll see if we need to do more.
Here's a link to a reply I was trying to add (that one is a new one I had to make to get the code snippets to render "as code". I had to delete the first one).
Subsequently I've read from this thread that it may only be the initial rendering that screws it up, and that reloading the page actually renders thing correctly - didn't try that, but I sure will next time.
Editing a post with code removes the code!

Seems to happen when you edit a reply.
However, I just discovered if you do a browser refresh on the page, the formatting does comes back!
I've noticed this too. It's only after edit post and a refresh will resolve it.
Good to know, will investigate!

Ok, so I just ran head-first into this.
