    Unable to view installed packages Umbraco 4.5

    Hi,

    I've upgraded our site to Umbraco 4.5 from 4.0.1. When I go to look at the installed packages there is no installed packages node. I've checked the data/packages/installed folder and the xml packages file with entries is there. Permissions are also fine. The site works fine except for this.

    Any ideas?

    Hi Hayley,

    Could you check if there is a config file in the "\App_Data\packages\installed" folder?

    I'm thinking that the upgrade has confused the folder/paths slightly?  But not sure, so wanted to check first.

    Hi Lee,

    Thanks for the quick response. There is a config file in App_Data, but there is no content in it.

    ... and is there still a config file in the "\data\packages\installed" folder?  If so, copy that across to the App_Data one.

    Apart from that, not sure what might have made them disappear.

    Copying the file from \data\packages to \App_Data fixed it. Thanks very much!
