Problem with Safari and Chrome when working in canvas mode with RTE
Hi All,
I just want to say that I am really enjoying working with Umbraco and am still a newbie.
Anyway, I was wondering if you could help me. I am building a website for a client using the Umbraco CMS. Everything is going great, except when I am using the RTE/TinyMCE editor in canvas mode. I downloaded Safari and Chrome today just to check browers compatability. When I click on the item to edit it, the content dissapears and the editor does not show up. When I click again, the content reappears. I have not tested it on older broswers, but am currently using the latest versions of both Safari and Chrome. I must also add, i turned off block pop ups and the same thing still happens.
Also in firefox the editor takes a while to load, when in IE everything happens smoothly. Ha, first time somthing in IE worked better compared to other browsers. I would really appreciate your help on this matter, as the client has to be able to have a smooth experience in the canvas mode because thats where they will be doing the bulk of their editing.
Another quick question? Would it be possible to create a sortable/editable menu in .net which would work in canvas mode. So the client could edit and add menus without ever having to go to the "backend" of the site.
