As described in the topic title the option to set a start node for a user in the backoffice is simply gone. I know that i used this feature some weeks ago, so I am unsure when it broke. I am aware of the option to set this manually in the database as described in the following thread: http://our.umbraco.org/forum/using/ui-questions/7037-Users-Start-Node-in-Content-disappeared , however, this is not the most favourable solution.
According to the last post in the tread mentioned above it seems this issue has been addressed in 4.1+ , this site is currently running umbraco v
4.0.4.2 (Assembly version: 1.0.3811.17115) and any input as to how to resolve this issue for the 4.0.4.2 would be greatly appreciated!
