Insert image from media library problem

(Umbraco 4.5.1, Windows small business server 2003, SQL 2008 Express, IIS6)

    Hi all,

I needed to insert an image from our media library into the contents of a node and so clicked on the TinyMCE insert image button to expect the following screen (or something similar) to popup:

(The image above was taken from google)

But instead i saw the following:

Where has the lovely media picker gone?!

    Other info:

We do currently also have an error when clicking "create" at the top left in the media section where we got the following message:

    Perhaps it is related?

Anyway, if they are not related I will fix the issue above another time - currently I am focussing on getting the image picker back so if anybody has any ideas as to where it's gone then that would be great!

    Thanks :)

    Max.

We recently upgraded from 4.0.4.2 to 4.5.1 and it was defiantly working before the upgrade, and i think it worked after as well but not 100% sure.

Other than that, no changes really other than the one mentioned in the post above.

Is it a feature that should by default come with a fresh install of 4.5.1?

I'd suggest a beyond-compare to check if indeed everything has been upgraded, then check file permissions for the applicationpool user

The error when you try to add a new item to the media section worries me more... issues like these are very difficult to fix most of the time...

Thanks for the replies. I think your right - I will focus on the other error for now and come back to this later. Here is a link to the new thread in case you have an insight as to why I am getting the problem - also more info on the error included:

    Thanks again.

There is a large chance that there is some package installed that isn't compatible with umbraco 4.5 (like the image cropper dll's, which are now part of umbraco by default)

Strongly suggest reading this post: http://our.umbraco.org/projects/backoffice-extensions/image-cropper/image-cropper/10238-Umbraco-45-and-Image-Cropper?p=1

Still havnt fixed the main problem mentioned in the first post of this thread.

I have tried overwriting files from /umbraco and /umbraco_client from a fresh download of 4.5.1 but no luck so far...

    Anybody else have any ideas?

    Max.
