Another infomartion: II 7( on my personal computer: windows 7)
Net framework: 4.0
After that I clicked on the media section and created a Node (Type: folder) under Media Node.
In folder (which i have just created) I created a new file Node and try to upload a file . but whenever I click on the upload button my browser( firefox 3.6.12) crash ( not responding)
Have you tried a different browser? It sounds like something in firefox (maybe an extension that you've installed) is misbehaving. Do "upload" buttons work on other sites for you?
Hmm. not really, I haven't tried 4.6 yet, so I couldn't tell you if it worked in my firefox. If you go into Start > Programs > Mozilla Firefox, theres a "Firefox (safe mode)" in there. It will start FF without extensions. If that makes a difference, one of your extensions is acting up, if not, it might be FF or it might be Umbraco (would be good to test on different computes then).
