    unable upload file in umbraco

    Hi All

    I have just installed the umbraco 4.6.0 alpha

    umbraco v4.6.0.Alpha (Assembly version: 1.0.3926.24556)

    Another infomartion: II 7( on my personal computer: windows 7)

    Net framework: 4.0

     

    After that I clicked on the media section  and created a Node (Type: folder) under Media Node.

    In folder (which i have just created)  I  created a new file Node and try to upload a file . but whenever I click on the upload button  my browser( firefox 3.6.12) crash ( not responding)

    Please help me if I have any mistake in any step.

    Have you tried a different browser? It sounds like something in firefox (maybe an extension that you've installed) is misbehaving. Do "upload" buttons work on other sites for you?

    Hi  i tried on IE  and its run smoothly.

    The upload button works on other sites ( some sites that have upload features )

    Firefox Extension: FireBug , Web Developer, skype extensition.

    Do you have any suggest ?

    Hmm. not really, I haven't tried 4.6 yet, so I couldn't tell you if it worked in my firefox. If you go into Start > Programs > Mozilla Firefox, theres a "Firefox (safe mode)" in there. It will start FF without extensions. If that makes a difference, one of your extensions is acting up, if not, it might be FF or it might be Umbraco (would be good to test on different computes then).
