Insert macro drop down list is empty despite there being plenty of macros

    Hi all,

When in the rich text editor for a node and clicking the "Insert Macro" button the drop down list does not show any macros despite there being plenty available...

Does anybody know why this happens and how I can fix it?

    Thanks,

    Max.

    Hi Max,

There should be a setting in each of the macros in the developer section, called 'use in editor'.  Make sure this is checked for the ones you need to be visible through the WYSIWYG editor.

Ahhh I see :) I thought they would automatically be shown but I see why they are not. Thanks for your help.

Yeah, a lot of macros will contain stuff you probably don't want your clients to be able to mess with ;)  By default they're not included or rendered by the WYSIWYG editor controls, but it's great to have the option.
