I get the following error when I try to update one of my projects (Icon Picker):
Lock obtain timed out: SimpleFSLock@C:\inetpub\our.umbraco.org\app_data\umbSearch\write.lock
I have the same issue. Can't update it, and also get an error when uploading a new file (the file is uploaded tho)
Confirmed, I get the same error when trying to edit the description of a project.
+1, same issue here, when trying to edit the default download file for a project. Looks like an issue with the Lucene indexer.
+1, same issue with new projects
Yep same here :(
Hello all,Thanks for bringing this to our attention. As I am new boy I have yet to get RDP/FTP access to this server yet.However either me or someone else will look into this on Monday (or possibly sooner) to resolve.
Warren :)
Scandalous, you don't even have a Core badge yet!
Ta Warren. :-)
haha. Yeh obviously not earned the right just quite yet.... ;)
Should be all set now, just a Lucene hiccup.

It's back...
Hey Arnold,What action is causing this, as updating the description text is working for me on a project of mine I own.
Is it file upload, creating a new project or.... ?
No problem here either.. might be browser cache?
I eddited our project description (Supersimplewebshop).
Strange thing is.. it happend only twice, now it worked again...
First time save --> no issue
Second time save --> no issue
3rd time save --> error
5th time save --> error
6th time save --> ok!
Just tried again and the problem is unfortunately back.
@Warren I just tried to edit a project, changing the description, and it threw the error.
This seems very odd, as i have just edited a description just fine, several times in a row without any problems. I will look into it.

Seems to have stopped from happening now... server issue?
edit: to early.. it's still there... :P
@Arnold it seems OK to me now, are you still getting it now?If so are you using any unusal characters in your description at all?
Thanks,Warren
It's really a 1 in 10 error now. So it does not seem to be releated tot the type of content I'm adding.(to be shure it is this description: http://our.umbraco.org/projects/website-utilities/supersimplewebshop).
Since it seems to be lucene related it could be the server load?
Its happening again - unable to add a new project or update existing ones.
I get an error every time I try to create a new project
