    Cannot insert the value NULL into column 'id', table

    Hi Guys I'm running 4.7  I'm trying to create a new doc type which has a master document type selected from the drop down list. I was just wondering if anyone could suggest what is going on as this error is appearing in the overlay.

    Server Error in '/' Application.

    Cannot insert the value NULL into column 'id', table 'ProjectName.dbo.umbracoNode'; column does not allow nulls. INSERT fails.
    The statement has been terminated.
