Forums won't stay logged in

Since the Our upgrade, forums are no longer keeping me logged in.

Hi Connie,

Do you mean between browser sessions, or page reloads? Which browser are you using?

I haven't experienced any issues with staying logged in today.

Although, there is scheduled maintenance due tomorrow (Weds) between 1pm and 5pm - so best bet is to wait until after that - then raise a bug.

Oops! Soon after I posted my reply - I got logged out ... not sure how long it takes to expire, could be 20/30 minutes.

I'll talk with some of the HQ guys at CodeGarden, (tomorrow), see what we can do to resolve this.

I have the same problem. But only tested this in Firefox 4.0.1/OS X so far.

same issue here on firefox 4.0.1 windows 7, but i thought it was because my laptop is not sure where it is still ;)

Cookie expiration time is set to 30 mins after login. Hope HQ will rectify this soon, I got way too used to the sliding expiration! ;-)

Worst is after you login you are taken to the home page instead of being allowed to continue with what you were doing.

Please fix this problem.
