    Cannot preview unpublished content when using hostnames

    Ok quick overview of the issue.

    Within a 4.7.0 solution we have multiple sites set up. Each of these has a hostname (example.co.uk, example2.co.uk etc).

    When we create a content page, save the page and attempt to preview the page we get the following error:

    This only happens when we use the hostname. If localhost is used to log into Umbraco and preview, we see the preview of the page with the preview ribbon in the top right.

    Anyone come across this before?

    Just to add...

    if the hostname is configured on the machine running the Umbraco instance, the preview works for both localhost and the domain name. IIS configuration issue possibly? :)

    I've seen a similar issue.  FYI, you posted this in the wrong forum which may be why no answers.
