I use umbraco 4.0.4.2 and I face a strange problem: as you probably know, when a node is unpublished, it's displayed in grey font and an asterisk appears beside its name. But in my website, I can see sometimes the aterisk beside published contents(!). However, the text is black, untill I click the node, then it becomes grey and looks exactly like an unpublished node.
Maybe the node has beeen modified since it's initial publish? This will bring the little star icon back next to the text so you can see that the page has been modified, since it's last publish and the modifications need to be published.
You can go to the "properties" tab on the node and see when the document was initially published and when it has last been changed.
Asterisk appears for published nodes
Hi,
I use umbraco 4.0.4.2 and I face a strange problem: as you probably know, when a node is unpublished, it's displayed in grey font and an asterisk appears beside its name. Did someone face this bug? can you help me?
Thanks from advance,
Ben
Hi Ben
Maybe the node has beeen modified since it's initial publish? This will bring the little star icon back next to the text so you can see that the page has been modified, since it's last publish and the modifications need to be published.
You can go to the "properties" tab on the node and see when the document was initially published and when it has last been changed.
Hope this helps :)
