I keep getting a reoccurring error with the path to pages under my article section. Without no apparent reason my startpage gets inserted to the url for my subpage causing a 404.
I'm using version 4.7. There is just one umbraco installation and one site. However we are two developers working with the same sql from our own localhost. Could this be the cause?
Hmm, is it the same nodes that keep dissapearing and return 404 pages or is it only new nodes, which you have not published from your local installation but has been published from your colleagues local installation and vice verca? Then it makes sense that you need to update the XML cache...
I keep getting this problem. I just tried creating a new document type for the articles and that fixed the issue for some days but now it's back again!!! It's driving my crazy and I have no idea how to fix it. I can't republish the site every few hours. Does anyone have any clues how to fix this?
Getting startpage in url
Hi!
I keep getting a reoccurring error with the path to pages under my article section. Without no apparent reason my startpage gets inserted to the url for my subpage causing a 404.
www.myhomepage.se/mycatalog/subcatalog/mypage
turns into
www.myhomepage.se/startpage/mycatalog/subcatalog/mypage
The problem goes away if I do a republish but keeps coming back. Any ideas?
Niklas
Hi Niklas
What version of Umbraco do you experience this on? And is it an Umbraco instance running more than one site perhaps?
Please ellaborate a bit more on how the site is setup - the more info, the easier it is to point you in the right direction :)

Hi Jan
It's everything under a specific parent. mydomain.se/parent/mypage/
New and old ones under parent get's the problem.
