I'm having a persitent problem with tinymce3tinymceCompress.aspx hanging (never sneding any data or closing the connection) and before I start digging in the code I wondered if anyone else is having the problem?
There doesn't seem to be any hits in tinymce3tinymceCompress in the forum (just one thread about IE9 problems).
I did notice that when I moved to my current hosts (Rackspace cloud) which uses (virtualised) AMD processors there was a uncharacteristic performance hit when using regexes in asp.net.
I 've got the same problem. Umbraco 4.7.1 and TinyMCE 3.4 on Windows 2008 server, taking minutes to load edit pane sometime nothing at all, checked fiddler, reset all permissions still no difference.

Same problem here - using Umbraco 4.7.1 and TinyMCE 3.4 - edit pane hangs for literally minutes before eventually displaying.
