Other users name showing as logged in

I've got a problem with my v4.7 in the admin area.

If another user is logged in to the user area, then when I log in as admin or another user, the other person's username is shown on the logout button.

Is this an outstanding issue or fixed with 5?

    Pete,

Is your website an extranet?  Are you logging into the extranet and backend using same browser on same machine?

    Regards

    Hi Ismail

Yes it's extranet, I've got users logging in from their PC's at home or at completely different office location, not on the same domain or anything, so when one of them is logged in, then I login - I see another person's username.

I did find a couple of posts in the forum a few weeks back with people with the same issue, but for the life of me just can't find them now. I'm sure one of them said it was reported as a bug and was in the codeplex "to do" list ?

After some more testing it seems that this issue only seems to appear when users are logged in on the same domain into the admin/backend area.

So, on the internal lan domain, one user logs into admin, then another logs in to admin from another PC but on the same lan, and that user see's the other user's name as logged in at the top right corner.

After logging some users in and out, it seems that the name that gets shown as logged in, is the name of the user who logged in last.

Wondering if anyone else has had this issue, were there some bugs? do I need to upgrade to latest release of umbraco?
