In step 2/5 in the Umbraco installation choose custom and use this
connection string (note DatabaseName must be unique for each
installation on same machine:
A few questions. 1) Step 2/5 is the License page does he mean 3/5?
2) On 3/5 the database page, there is no "custom" option. Maybe there was in earlier versions. The options are: I already have a blank SQL Server or MySQL database I want to use SQL CE 4, a free, quick-and-simple embedded database I'm an advanced user, let me put in the connection string I need help
So take an educated guess and choose the third option?
3) Following the instructions (download db, rename etc..) and pasting the connection string into the text area I get: Database connection initialisation failed.
Have I missed some vital other action? Did I need to do anything to the web.config and if so what?
Blank SQL express 2005 - missing instructions?

He states:
