Sorting from Top Content Node Fails in Umbraco 4.71
We have an Umbraco installation with multiple websites. In the past we have been able to sort this list from the Content Node. After we upgraded from 4.0 to 4.71, sorting from the Content Node fails. The sort routine runs, a close box appears, but when you look back at the tree, the items you resorted are in the same place they were in before the sort. Note sorting works fine for nodes below the main content node. Thus if you open a node underneath content, you can sort the children underneath it. You just cannot sort the children of the content node which in our case are individual websites.
This image relates to the previous post. The node highlighted yelllow could not be repositioned in the tree using sort. Basically, we're stuck in time w/this tree. If we add a new site, it will by default wind up a the bottom. It is extremely inconvenient if you can' tmove it upo while developing it.
And speaking up bugs, I had to create a link above because the insert image failed in three different browsers.
