Can anyone help me with this, I've spent the last 6 hours trying to figure this out and I'm losing the will to live.
Scenario:
I'm running a local Umbraco and MSSQL Express installation and it works fine and it's really fast for development. I upload the database to a VPS and try to run locally against it and the content tree nodes take an age to load.
Here is the firebug output for the /EditContent.aspx?id=XX as you can see its the call to this page that takes the longest. Any help is appreciated.
