Can anyone give me any tips/guidelines on how to best use the search function in this new forum?  I can't seem to make it return the sort of results I am looking for like looking for a phrase (usually by putting it in quotes) or looking for a combination of keywords (using +)

Any help would be gratefully appreciated as I'd but rather find out if someone else has asked a question before posting.
