I've having a very difficult time with inherited document types. In fact, they don't seem to be working at all. For instance, I create a master that has a few tabs and properties, then the root node which is based on one of these won't save saying a 3rd party component is cancelling the publish.. The log files says invalid properties.
So I remove a couple and then I can save and publish the root node but then also seems to pick up properties from other document types that are not associated to it.. I'm kind of at a loss and would love to get some specific feedback on this.. I'm actually following the exact same process that I use when creating any site:
Document Types:
Master
-- Site Info
-- Content
-- Home
None of them will publish and the Site Info node's will pick up properties from the Content Document Type (BodyText for instance). Is anyone else having issues?
