    TinyMCE Loses Image on Save & Publish

    Hello,

    We have an issue with the Rich Text editor in Umbraco when inserting embedded images.

    When inserting an image using the toolbar button, the image dialog opens and we enter Urls and fill in the form.

    If we then click Save & Publish the editor removes the SRC attribute from the IMG tag leaving a broken image.

    If we click Save first, and then Save & Publish it works fine.

     

    I realize the editor is third party but are there any plans to update the TinyMCE editor to the latest version any time soon to fix bugs in the current version?

    There are plans to update the TinyMCE editor. Maybe even replace it: https://groups.google.com/d/msg/umbraco-dev/yK78TXvSVJI/WEwuVAxiMz8J
