    uComponents Datatypes Missing

    Hi all

I have a fresh Umbraco install (4.11.5) and after I install uComponents (5.4.1) I am unable to see the datatypes listed in the property editor dropdown in the developer section.

The install works fine with no errors & I can see the DLL files in the /bin folder.

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling but still no joy.

Pretty confused as to what could be causing this. Anyone have any ideas?

    Thanks in advance

    Lewis

Strange. I installed on Umbraco 6.0.2 the other day and it was fine.

Yeah likewise, I have uComponents 5.2.0 working on Umbraco 4.11.4 with no problems...

That is indeed a strange one.

Are you able to access the Event Log for the machine running the site?

I have just realised this isn't a uComponents-specific issue. I just installed DAMP and it is also missing from the datatypes list
    .
I do have access to the event viewer and the umbracoLog table.

Could you look in the Event Viewer for any file permission issues?

Was a permissions issue, thought I had covered that side of things but obviously not! Facepalm!

    Thanks for your help
