    Office documents download slow through Umbraco

    Please help. I am using version 4.7. I am experiencing that Office-documents are downloading very slowly or the download stalls when I am trying to download them through Umbraco. I am using both Office 2003 and 2007.Any suggestions ? Thanks.

    Hey Steen,

    I'm not sure how this could be related to Umbraco in anyway?

    How are you downloading these files through Umbraco?

    Hey Rich

    I put til Word-file in the Media Archive. Then I create a page in Content. Then I create a link on the page to the file in the Media Archive. Clicking on the link starts the download process. Then the process slows down or stalls. I can then get til downloading if I several times push "Pause download" and then "Continue download". Download is working 100% when I use PDF. I am not sure that this is an Umbraco bug. Could perhaps be an IIS bug or at bug between IIS and the browser.
