Setting emtpy string to admin password solvs problem of lost password
Hi,
I had lost my password and couldn't get it back. To solve this I emptied the password field in the VistaDB and now I could login with an empty password. I think this shouldn't work though it helped me out.
Latest release of umbraco on 3.5 and standard installed VistaDB.
I'm not sure it's a bug, though you should enter it on umbraco's codeplex site. To my mind, if someone has access to your database and can change a password field then worrying about their ability to log in to the UI is of not great importance because the damage is already done.
