Hi! For the last few days I've had big problems with a client's website.
A couple of times per day almost all of the content of the site disappears. You can see some of the menu items (not all) but none of the images and paragraphs. There are no messages in the log and it happens at random times. By republishing the entire site everything goes back to normal but after a few hours everything disappears again.
We haven't installed any new plugins or done any drastic changes in a while.
Some installation info: Umbraco version: v6.1.5 (Assembly version: 1.0.4993.19246) Asp.net version: 4.0 Classic IIS 7
Does anybody have an idea what the problem could be?
Perhaps it would be a good idea to check the setup on the server and make sure that permissions have been setup correctly?
Don't know if an upgrade to 6.1.6 could perhaps help? If you choose to upgrade make sure to make a backup of both files and the database and if possible use a version control system to handle files.
We seem to have solved to problem! The issue was that we had named one of the accordions to the same thing as the main page. This resulted in the accordion and the main page having the same link: "/main.aspx".
So sometimes www.ourpage.com/main.aspx would load the main page and sometimes the accordion. Strange though that this happened randomly...
