Umbraco crashes when multiple users access the console.
Hi All,
Our company has recently transfered our website to the Umbraco CMS, everything has gone well until just before go-live. between 3-4 users were accessing the console at the same time to edit various parts of the website and Umbraco would crash. You are unable to log into Umbraco and we were unable to access the website (so this i s why its a big issue!!). I was able to log onto the remote server (Fasthost) and there doesnt appear to be anything in the logs? If we tried to access the site later it would appear to correct itself and we are able to carry on working but it does pose a seriou srisk of downtime with our website.
Please also check your windows application log, some exceptions are sent there.
I do experience a bit of a slow-down on a site with 15.000 nodes and a few editors starting to do a publish at the same time, but it has never crashed. Maybe on a badly underpowered server it could crash, but I doubt it.
Is the application pool allowed to take enough memory and not limited in CPU power?
You are able to get to the log in screen but it just hangs on this screen. If you browse to a publish page you have an error describing a system application error. The problem occured when more than one user was editing content. I was then asked to investigate which is when i found i wasnt able to log in.
The browser are eithe IE 7 or Firefox.
I logged onto the hosted server (only running Umbrco and SQL server) there was nothing in the event logs. Intially i reset the box and it was ok again for a short time and then it ws reported again and i was reviewing the logs and tried to connect about 30 mins later and i ws able to connect.
The crash occurs when more than one user is editing and Umbraco returns the error screen showning "Application Error"
If anyones has any ideas i would be very gratefull. The main problem is that it stops the published content being viewed.

Hi Matthew,
Could you describe what happened when it crashed.
Did you see an error screen?
Does the problem occur when logging in or when editing content?
What browser are your editors using etc.
And anything else you saw, what happened when you tried to view the website for instance.
Thanks
Tim
